Finally we sold Angie a 2014 Mazda 6. She first came to me to test drive the Mazda 3 and 6 about 45 days ago and shopped several brands as well and finally she told me she was set on 2014 Mazda 6 and Honda Accord and wanted to be at a comfortable payment of $325. I worked the number based on the approval she got from her credit union and I quoted $328 on a 2014 Mazda sport model and showed it to Santos. And Santos could not believe me this customer wants to see the break down figures as well not only the payment. Then he called himself and gave the same monthly payment on the base touring model but insisted on the payment and did not want to explain the breakdown cost. Then she emailed me that she decided not to buy a Mazda because she had two previous bad experiences with the other two Mazda dealers. So I apologized to her and brought her back and ask Gilton to help and Steve talked to her. Then in the next two days we closed the deal.

I just got a repeat customer, a couple, Evelyn and David, Evelyn left me a message on the office phone on the floor must had been transferred by another sales consultant and I did not check it till the second day and fortunately they had not bought anything yet. They were at another Mazda dealer and BMW. Then they made an appointment to come by on Friday. And initially came for the CX 5 but Evelyn did not like the interior so we switched to a 2013 Mazda CX 9 and they loved it and they wanted to be at the payment of the sport model, then we switched to the base touring model, but we did not have one in stock that they liked and they liked a base Grand touring. They got it at the payment just $20 more than the sport model we quoted and they were very happy. Thanks to Steve to give a good trade in value.

Friday afternoon we all the Mazda sales people, managers and GM had a meeting with the owner, Mike Smith. He confirmed not to force customers to buy the hail damage vehicles. We have to disclose the conditions and even we should try to show the vehicle under the bright light before we do the deals. This is a great step taken by the owner of the company. We are starting to have them fixed now. If customer wants to have it fixed we will do the deal after they have seen it after being repaired just take a $500 deposit.

Monday afternoon, Steve our GM had a meeting with us regarding the storm that hit us on Saturday and had caused some damages to some of our cars. He convinced the sales
Staff that we still can sell a lot of cars with sold them as it is or promise to fix them for the customers.
And it had been proved that we had sold two cars sold as they were early morning. It was a great step taken by the GM.

I remember the word crisis in Chinese consists of two characters Wei Chii, so during a crisis there are wei sien, means danger and Chii Huii , opportunity so the optimistic people will see great opportunity during crisis not sitting around waiting for the danger to come.

I bought two $25 Shell gift cards at a local Kroger then I tried to use them at a Shell gas station close to my work and both of them were denied. I went back to Kroger to tell them the problem. And I could not find the receipt. A sales assistant abruptly said they could not be returned because they did not even know if I bought them there. I asked if They could search in their system through my reward cards then she called the customer service on the back of the Shell cards and came back to me saying that The cards have truly been never used and asked me to come back the next morning to see the customer service counter representative. It is a bad service, in the beginning she already said if I even bought them there, she already gave the impression as if I was trying to cheat them,

Monday, 22 April I went to Kroger customers’s service counter and Ashley fixed the problem by checking it with my reward card information.

I went to O’Reilley Auto Parts to get a 2000 Volkswagen Passat, rack and pinion, the sales assistant quoted me a price of $240 and I told him that I had been quoted for the same part at Auto Zone for $145.00 and he said maybe that was a bad part, and I said it cannot be, it has lifetime warranty). When I was about to leave, George another sales assistant came and matched the price for me so I ordered one. And I was about to pay it for that order. he said for me it was not necessary. He really gave me the top customer service. I took my hats off to George.

I just got a lead on a 2013 Mazda CX 5 Touring AWD from Thomas. And I called him to verify if he really needs an AWD. He was pissed by being called. So I just sent the quote based on the lead I received.
