I called Liana, my customer who bought a Mazda 3 about three years ago yesterday and congratulated her on her Birthday. And I asked her if she needed a new vehicle for her husband. She said she just bought one from A Mazda dealer closer to her house about 9 months ago a 2014 Mazda CX 5 touring but they preferred the Grand Touring, top of the line. And that Mazda dealer could not help her to trade up. So I asked her to come and bring in her Mazda CX 5 so that I could have it appraised and she said she would be able to come later in the evening. She came by with her husband and traded it up to the Grand Touring with us with probably about $50 more in monthly payment. They were very happy with the new 2014 Mazda CX 5 Grand Touring. A phone call on a birthday congratulations led to a sale.
Last Thursday my customer Rodgers came back for the 2014 Mazda CX 5, service loaner demo which we sold as pre-owned vehicle. I managed to switch to the color they wanted silver on a service loaner.
At the sales tower when Santos asked me questions while he was penciling the payments. I told him that they expected special rates from Mazda since he was initially came in on a new 2014 Mazda CX 5 at 0.9% for 60 months and 1.9%. Edgard, our finance manager said that we do not have special rates on pre-owned vehicles and I was not supposed to tell them that we had it. I did not say anything about the rates to the customers. So Aaron took the initiative to explain it to my customers and they seemed to be okay. And they went to finance office and signed the rate at 1.79% with Capital One which is lower than the special rates from Mazda.
If I had told my customers that we did not have the incentivized rates, I would have lost that deal to other dealers.
Two days ago I just saw on my linked-in , Xavier , one of my connections popped up he has just relocated to Houston. So I wrote welcome to Houston. He replied saying that his wife was not happy with her 2013 Hyundai Elantra and would like to trade in with a new 2014 Mazda CX 5. And I asked him to bring in the Elantra today and we made a deal. And his wife is now happy with the new 2014 Mazda CX 5.
Today, Friday, 20 December 2013 at around 4 pm we had a sales meeting and Aaron emphasize to sell the vehicles in stock and not to do the dealer trade. He even told us we may have to stop doing dealer trade.
My customer, Bhas came in to have his second oil change done. While waiting he came in to use the invitation for test drive which I emailed him? he test drove the 2013 Mazda Miata and liked it. And we gave him a trade in value on his 2012 Mazda 3 at $12500. But he was on his way to his appointment and could not show him all the numbers. Hope we could get him back soon.
You have hidden treasures:
Today message at lakewood was brilliantly described By Joel Osteen that everyone of us has hidden treasures that may come out at any moment. He described how our today’s distinguished guest Susan Boyle who had struggling life since child birth and even the doctor who helped deliver her told her parents that they could not expect much from her. But at the age of 47, she lost both her parents and unemployed, she then participated the singing competition that shook the world. And now her music CDs were sold millions of copies. What she did before the opportunity to participate in that singing competition was
: always sang at her church and at home to entertain her sick mother and kept believing that the best is yet to come. And one touch of God’s favor had taken her to a place that she never dreamed of before.

Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did it for me.
I used to hear this from Mom and Tony Yeung, ( my friend who was a big businessman )too. If you have the chance and the capacity to help somebody who is really in need, do not think twice, please help him. It may not be in the monetary term, it may be your time or your encouraging words. You will be rewarded abundantly.
Joel Osteen gave an example during his sermon his dad John Osteen gave some funds to a neighboring Hispanic church who lacked of funds in the middle of its construction. Since then, Lakewood church has been receiving donations from everywhere.
